Frankenstein Cake

I had some left-over sheet cake, so I made a quick Frankenstein Cake for my husband’s office. The cake is red velvet with cream cheese frosting colored green. The decorations are candy melts. The bolts are marshmallows dipped in chocolate.

Deviled Zombie Eyeballs

These are deviled eggs with a little bit of green food coloring. I drew the blood-vessels with some red food coloring and a toothpick. The iris is of-course sliced olive.  I don’t recall where I got the idea from, but if you google it, you’ll find some great sources.

Halloween Monsters

We decided to do something different for Halloween. I saw this on Pinterest, and decided to make something similar.

I first drew them and cut them out of the newspaper and stuck them in the window to see if it would work. Then I traced them onto some black vinyl that I got from Walmart, cut them out again and stuck them in the window. Boom – window monsters.

I loved how they came out and the neighbors liked them too.  Even two years later, when I tell people which house is mine, they’re always like “oh – the monster in the windows”.
